I have wanted a tufted, upholstered headboard forever. So, when we decided to redo our bedroom it was the first thing on my list. The ones I found to buy, however, cost $3,000 or more!!! Of course I didn't want just any upholstered headboard. It had to have the sides on it. So, I enlisted the help of my dad and husband...I did my part too (and mom watched Jasper!) We made it for $250!!! The foam and fabric were on sale...the fabrics name is 'Jasper Flax'! We picked it out and then saw the name!
